Trestle End Table; 2009. This end table is made from reclaimed pine barn wood. Table top is 7.5″ x 16″, 24″ high. It is trestle style with wedge and mortise-and-tenon joinery, finished with Murdock’s Hard Oil. Historical character marks (old hammer dents, nail holes, sun bleached stripes) add to its old world charm. This is one part of three tables I did for an office in downtown Brooklyn. It is custom sized to fit a small opening next to a sofa.
